It doesn't really matter to me much but if I had to pick I guess I'd rather blow through my 70 in 6 or 7 days and take a day off to go float around in a pool at a hotel.

 

Burn the 70 down when ever possible. I hate recap hours.

 

Question: When dropping trailer in Calexico does this automatically means that I have to wait 34 hours until I get a load assignment or what as I've done this twice already in two weeks working for DHT. I could understand if It was the weekend and I didn't have any hours. But i just took a 34 on Monday and now I have to do another one 48 hours after I did the first one? Plus my APU is not working and I didn't want to lose out on fuel bonus grrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

 

Who is your driver manager ??

I would be in the phone to him asking why you have no pre plan.

 

I'll do that. The miles have been great so far but that's the only issue I'm having so far.

 

I've been pre-planned every time I've gone into Calexico with the exception of once when I had just enough time to shower and get jack in the box before I got an assignment. By the way, don't shower at that truck stop, they're pretty gnarly.

 

Yes I was there last Saturday, very nasty showers there.

 

Still waiting after they said 4 hours ago that I should be getting a load assignment soon
