What happened?. Cancelled loads, The Stank and now broken down by the side of the road. I think any chance of your son following in your footsteps may be fading

Well, they said my original truck has to go to KW dealer, and they're running 6 days behind according to our shop. So Bill put me in another truck. I asked if I can keep it so its permanent. Man, I bet I lost 10lbs today switching trucks while it was 98 degrees outside.

@ExtremeUnction sorry you're broke down. Hope you get fixed and rolling soon.

The thought of switching trucks scares me. Its shocking how much "stuff" I have acquired. Last time I was home I tried clearing out everything I dont use on a regular basis and there is still so much in here.

Hope the new truck is a runner.

My radiator/reservoir bleeds coolant. I thought they had it fixed, but I've had to top it off three times since getting back into the truck with my son last month. Will try again to get it fixed on my next hometime, and if that doesn't work, then I'll put it in the shop on the road and let them fix it instead.

Anyhow, I was getting the "Critically low coolant!" warnings going up the side of the mountains outside of Bakersfield, so I pulled over to top it off again (because the Volvo de-rates if you get a low coolant warning). Shut off the engine so I could poor coolant into the reservoir without the fan blowing a spray of it back in my face.

And then the engine wouldn't start when I got back in the truck.

1hr 40min and one jump start later, I was back on the road.
