Hello,
I have a question. If a shipper/receiver doesnt allow pets what do you do if you travel with your furry friend?

It has happened to me only once at a chem plant down in Louisiana. They said I had to have her in her carrier the whole time I was on their property. They even came out and checked once. She was. Told dispatch to not send me back there.

Sadly, some places make you leave them tied up outside the gate, near the guard shack. I can think of at least one shipper that made drivers do that.

A few chemical plants won't allow them period. You have to take them to a Vet and day board them. Or a similar facility.
I went to BASF in Freeport tx. The Guards there think they are Navy Seals. So anyway guy is a dick to me. I leave, tell Doc to get in the cave and be quiet. When I pulled back up I told him again not a peep. So guy gets up in the cab looks around takes his baton and moves the little curtain in front of the bed. Says to the other guy he is clean. So I get escorted around this ######## place. Finally get loaded and back out the gate. Right beside the check in shed. When I got out and told Doc go potty it was priceless. I wouldn't have done that had he not been a dickOdin's Rabid Dog, nowright, MBAngel and 8 others Thank this. -
I love this story. -
I guess if they make you get the pet off of the property you could Uber to a vet or doggie daycare and come back. I guess it depends on your pet. It's their property, they get to decide.
