Good company for 1-6 months of otr experience?

What are exactly are you getting at? I’m confused? Do you have any recommendations for the driver or are you just going to bash him through this experience. You my friend sound like a driver who lacks experience as well because an experienced driver would have recommend some options for this new driver like to his dispatch about getting a new truck or talk to his operations manager to get out of his current situation. That’s the problem with some the people in this industry. No one wants to help the new guys any more. They just want to bash the new guys coming in. I came in offering help to guy others chimed in suggesting to stay and tough it out so he doesn’t have to go through the re training process all over again. You added no value to situation. Your comment imo was pointless. Let’s help out these new drivers or just keep our negative comments to ourselves. But I’m sure you can’t do that so I’ll just sit here and wait for a negative reply back. Be safe driver

I can read. From your post it sounded like you wanted a pity party. You had a bad ten days in your harrowing 5 months on the road. Guess what, it doesn't matter who you work for, those ten days won't be the last. And for the record, you've never ran into anyone like me.

I don't want you to feel bad, everyone starts somewhere. If you quit every time something doesn't go your way, eventually you run out people willing to hire you. Even with this era of the driver shortage.

@Tony850 - Kstrong86, does Fastenal still hire drivers with only a cdl permit? I've seen ads in the past that they do at some terminals.
