DAC Information Here

There's nothing on your DAC because you have no trucking carrie yet. The DAC is where they report your trucking exp. You have none so there is nothing there. Now when they do a back ground check which will inclued a criminal check. They will find it and then you have even more trouble for false app. Lieing is NEVER a good way to go.

 

Kabar is right. If you lie on the app by hiding something that will most likey be found with a standard criminal background check, you will find it even harder to get into trucking. If a company (and many do) does a prehire and brings you to orientation and then the final check finds you liedon the app and they send you home, you will have that company reporting to everyone else that you were terminated for a false app (know this because someone in my Swift orientation had this happen). There are some companies who will hire with a felony background (dependin on the felony). You just have to search. Good luck and be honest.

 

WHO are these companies? I have a felony arrest for FTA at a CHILD SUPPORT hearing, my 20/20 DAC background check shows NO CONVICTION for it and I still cant find a job!

Yes and no. Non commercial drivers will not have a "drive-a-check" section.

But everything else is availible to an employer. Criminal, credit, etc

A simple look at the USIS website can tell you just how indepth and far reaching this report can be.

 

Recently Bill requested a copy of his DAC. He drove for Trans Am for 6 months and Celadon for about 4 months. On the section for TA, there is a spot called job performance- and it says "other". What the heck does that mean? He did fine there, is eligible for rehire, and actually was talking to them in December about going back and they wanted him on a bus back to Olathe on Dec 29 but we decided against it. Celadon's section says "satisfactory" next to job performance. He is worried now that that "other" is affecting his ability to be hired elsewhere. Does anyone have any idea what that means? Has any body worked for Trans Am or Roehl Transport company? I am going through School now and these two companys have prehired me. Triing to figure out the ups and down from both companys. can any one help?

You have no conviction an appalcation ask any felony you say no and you are telling the truth because you dont have a conviction

DAC reports is for the trucking industry mostly but I have heard that thay are going global soon

Read the apps closely. Does the context say convicted, or charged? Most say convicted. But some say charged. It's legal speak for companies who want a possible out, based on a false app.

Yes and no. Your DAC report has been integrated with USIS. Which contains a lot more information. Big brother....coming to a city near you soon.

 

But it still shows up as a Felony arrest and I have been fired from Werner and turned down by everybody else because of it, even though USIS shows it as NO CONVICTION!
