I have same vibration on engine brake stage 3. My mechanic sad that my injectors are going bad. I know it does not sound logic but on stage 3 engine brake, fuell injects in combustion chamber for better braking power

I got the truck not too long ago,but over head was done 30,000 miles ago and injectors replaced about 90,000 ago.

That makes no sense you need a new mechanic .. Fuel creates acceleration not deceleration ..

It does. Injected fuel creates more power energy inside combustion chamber while using engine brake. Do more research on D13 engine.

It’s the variable geometry turbo that creates more energy braking on stage 3

To me it feels more like drive train vibration than engine. I also feel very similar vibration when the truck is rolling in ECO- ROLL.

No no no. The injector pulse is Zero on deceleration.... Zero.

If fuel is getting in the cylinder, the injector is leaking , etc
