They are a lot better than most. The pay is a little low starting out, but if you are willing to stay out and hit your bonuses, you can make pretty good money here.

It's also even better money as a team driver. Most of the DHT drivers responding on here are solos. I know teaming isn't for everyone. I run with my boyfriend and we get great miles. For teams, if you get 20k miles in a month your monthly mileage bonus is $.05. We hit just under 27k miles for June.

I'd team up, just hard to find females that team up

You could call CJ and ask him if he knows of any solo women drivers out there that might want to team. Just an idea.

Is that 5 cents each or 2.5 cents each? Most loads are drop n hook? How many rescue loads do you have to do on average? Thanks

That's an extra $.05 to each of us on all miles for the month, not to mention our quarterly mileage bonus which is an extra $.03 on all miles for the quarter if we hit at least 60k miles (we always do). I'd say probably 60% of the loads are drop and hook on average. Not a lot of rescue loads, maybe once or twice a month we'll have to swap with a solo or team that's run out of hours or is sick. Sometimes we'll swap also to help a driver get to their home time more efficiently.

1 Cpm for hazmat? not worth it, that's like getting the redlight at every weigh station, I have it but wouldn't pull hazmat loads for 1cpm more, maybe 5cpm to offset the bs that comes with those 4 placards on the wagon..
