Slingshot from Pilot. Any opinions-experiences?

I don't have any experience with it, but I read that it works of the Sprint network. You can go on their website too, to find out more stuff. Google Slingshot

Slingshot is pre-paid Sprint. If Sprint wasn't giving you good coverage, Slingshot isn't for you. I don't know how long ago you had Sprint, or where you are going that you didn't get coverage, but I can say that Sprint has done a great job of expending things out west. That being said, Verizon still has far better coverage than Sprint does, especially off the highway out west, so you might want to give them a look see.

 

Check out millenicom. Not prepaid, still no contract, and unlimited useage. You need a credit / debit card for billing though. Uses a USB modem like a memory stick size.

No more depending on those truck stop wifi services...where they get all your personal information.

Sling shot is awesome...you can get on the net anywhere you go...whether your driving or not...

Not only that but the first 2 months are free!!!

So when you buy it...your actually buying 2 months of free service...I still have about 25 days before I have to pay the monthly 59dollor charge...

But it's so worth it...you can connect to the world anywhere...no more lonely bored nights at Rest Areas!!!

I've even uploaded videos to youtube from it...and it's totally hassle free once you get signed in....

It's truly a good deal...Once you get it, you'll wish you had gotten one sooner....

 

No contracts or none of that crap with slingshot....you sign up and they leave you along...and they rely on qualcom signal....way more reliable than that other crap....

YOu will not regret getting on....

 

Get one...you won't regret it...no hassles, no contracts, reliable service...I love it...

You can get on anywhere and be connected to the web...
They are so worth it...I may buy another one just incase I loose this one or before the price goes up..

Cause as soon as they start selling them in the big department stores and others catch on...you never know...

Right now their only selling them at pilots....

 

how much to buy the card and get started?

 

Millenicom is a great way to go, they are using Verizon and Sprint's network. They are based out of Washington state, so they may be a better fit for someone out west.

 

You don't need a card intially, cause the first 2 months are free...

You simply buy the modem in the box...call a 1-800 number or I think you can activated by just plugging modem in...and it will guide you...I forget...

Costs?...Ok, don't jump out your seat...cause it's worth it...

$250.00 or less or more...depending on state you buy it in...
Remember this though...you get the first 2 months free...so actually your only paying about $130.00 for it...

I have about 24 days left of free service...60 days of hassle free service is what I have enjoyed so far...Oh why did I wait so long...
