Anyone know if their load availability or rates differ substantially between BCO's and Carriers?

Total loads nation wide have been running about 3600 to 3800 on the landstar board and on the landstarbroker board it has been running between 800 to 900. The regular landstar board does seem to pay better than the board offered to carrriers. You can call the landstar recruiters and they can tell you this also. When I started looking at Landstar back in October the regular landstar board was running about 8800 loads nation wide.

Load availability or rates DO differ substantially between BCO's and Carriers. Every once in a while the pay is close, but it's been rare in my experience.

However if you run your own Auth. You don't get the 27% to 35% taken out of the lower carrier rate.

And sometimes the difference isn't all that much.

When Landstars board is posting over 10,000 loads, that seems to be the only time I can go anywhere at anytime.

I know a couple of guys just running LS brokerboard loads in Texas only and they are doing pretty good. So good in fact I was looking into it.

Just wondering if you have any proof of this?

Or are you just a "pissed off, tried to get hired and couldn't" driver?

:biggrin_2551:What more prove do I need? I'm about to file for chapter 7........I built so much debt into my credit cards not to mention.......my truck is paid for and I can not afford to pay for my monthly maintenance since I started with landstar about 14 mounth ago.And most the time, loads are gone between the time I get that so called voice allerts and I make the phone call.Or even better, lots of agents have trucks in their own or drivers give them procentaj back cash to the agents. How can I survive or other owner operators can make it at landstar since the loads are long gone.:biggrin_25510:.....?????????? Or maybe you are one of them?Don't be ironc, people sooner or later will face the reality fact at landstar and they will spread the magic word.....landstar its a scam...see ya:biggrin_25516:
