Wave Box 12v Microwave

    I have seen a number of these mostly at TA's and was wondering if anybody else has bought one and can give some feedback to how good it works. Its a 12v Microwave that has 3 options for power 1) 12v adapter to a 20amp accessories fuse, 2) Battery clamps, 3) standard wall plugin. The unit is not very big but I really don't need a big microwave, just something that heats up food faster than the lunchbox oven. The average price I've seen them go for is around $199.99 but I've yet to run into a driver that has one. Google The Wave Box
    Any reviews would be appreciated.

    I have seen them too, but I am suspicious of items sold in truck stops. I wouldn't think a 12V microwave would heat water. But I am not going to spend money just to find out.

    got one works well

    cooks soup, easy mac etc

    just have to add about 3-4 mins to a normal microwave
