Swift has while divisions of tech staff searching the entire internet diligently for any disparaging comments or pictures of Swift crashes, etc.

here is a lesson i learned long, long ago...

it goes back to my wrenching days in fact.

i was going to be fired cuz i was out and needed an operation, for carpal tunnel in fact.. my co-worker told me, that he had heard the owner and boss, that when i call them to return to work, that's when i was going to be told. so in effect, the boss/owner KNEW they were going to fire me, but gave me NO 2 weeks notice...

so, when i was "ready" to go back to work, i went in on a sunday, and cleaned out my work station of all my tools, and took off.

i think come that monday morning, they knew i wasn't gonna be calling in.....

from that day on, i had NO loyalty to any freaking job i have ever had.

i would park the truck, clean it out, and high tail outta there.

and if the boss was a real a-hole, (and there were 3 such bosses) i'd throw the keys to the truck into either the pond (snapping turtles) , or woods (with high weeds) , or other nasty place(into a sewer) i could find nearby.....

Buddy that’s harsh. Fish can be injured by metals discarded into our waterways.

You give two weeks notice as a courtesy, be professional to them and they will be the same to you.

I gave Cr England two weeks notice for the exact day my contract ended with them. Cr england, the Evil Empire of all trucking. Yet my route planner did not screw with me, she said I was a pleasure to work with and got me a delivery going just 12 miles from my home in Dallas a day early.

I will give my current employer two months notice if I know i am quitting that far ahead of time. They will not hold it against me, they will even give the best of recommendations to my next employer.

9 out of 10 employers will do the same for you if you do your job professionaly.

I’m the same way. Considering everyone needs drivers so badly right now, if one place won’t hire you, 10 others will.
