Don’t know, could be the pavement is not level, maybe the picture taker used photoshop to make it look like that.

Could also be one of those garbage Lowe’s loads they haul.

I guess it's more like a foot to 18 inches. I wanted the spot next to him, both are easy to back out of, but I thought nah, if falls off, or he seems pretty careless, you're only gonna have yourself to blame.

Once, back in the maroon truck days......
Fellow driver was at the same TS. Was a late day and just parked. He got a fresh made hot load of double stack roll roofing. Over night, under the tarp, the load shifted, actuallly bottom layer collapsed, in the morning the driver of the van next to him was beating on the truck to wake him up. Seems the load leaned over and was on this drivers van and he wanted to leave.

    Funny...

There’s a previous-TMC 388 parked near me at the truck stop here. Has the matching TMC special Benson trailer...

Load of lumber on the deck and not a single edge protector underneath any of the straps.

    It’s a TMC thing...

Wait a minute, what are you saying? Your supposed to have edge protectors on lumber loads?
Hey it’s just wood, no sharp edges/corners.
Besides the straps get a better bite on the load that way.

Tug Toy, Tb0n3 and cke Thank this.

Not gonna lie, I’ve never used an edge protector on a load of lumber and I’ve hauled a lot of lumber.

Why would you need edge protectors for lumber ?
