Does anything head out of Verso Paper that way?

I still like the feminine products on the flatbed idea......gets caught in a torrential rainstorm, the tampons all swell up, and he loses half the load going under a 13'8" bridge.
Then you need a scene where your trucker is relentlessly needled, ridiculed, second-guessed and laughed at by a diner full of old hands....."####, boy, what was you thinkin'?".....
"Good thing the coops was closed, with that half-assed securement, young blood.".....
"Never seen a TARP before, kid?"
"Sure he has! Just couldn't figure out what end to unroll it from!"
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
This part should be a minimum of six pages long. You're welcome.Gearjammin' Penguin, cybill234, Justrucking2 and 7 others Thank this. -
Be careful about using existing companies like Proctor and Gamble etc in a published novel. They can get snippy about the use of their corporate names in a for profit endeavor without permission.

Thats why when I go to the truck stop diner I put my ear buds in and keep my head down... Avoiding eye contact. All it takes is a glace there way and they are telling you their whole life's story... Including their service as a navy seal.Trucking in Tennessee and homeskillet Thank this.

I totally agree. But OP is going for a blend of farce and gritty realism, it seems.
Good point though, Trav.....hey OP, at least one of the truckers in the diner needs to be an ex-SEAL, Special Forces, or CIA.frizzbees and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
I'm sure he will make use of poetic license.

Halfway thru his run he does a bunch of meth and kills a lot lizard. Then goes into a truck stop and backs into a couple trucks. Can't wait to read it.
Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
You guys are seriously writing a better story than I am. If I can find a way to add in a cruise missile and/or an alien, I'll be set.
cybill234, frizzbees, homeskillet and 1 other person Thank this. -
Groton is off of I95, so back to Maine shouldn't be an issue, there are a few places where he can pick up a load going north. However Waterbury lends itself to a venture along I91 up through Vermont, then the back roads of New Hampshire into northern Maine.
Of course you can have him hauling through Mystic and picking up a pizza.
