Is anyone familiar with Nomad Radio in Louisville?
-
They seem to have a lot of fans on Facebook, but YMMV
-
If it's the guy I'm thinking of, I hear he does decent textbook work.

I'm sure he will appreciate your backhand compliment lol. I hope it's based on actual facts, ie something more than anecdotal accounts
-
There's a guy that goes by Nomad radio on the WWDX forum that does have a thorough understanding of textbook work and he goes by Nomad radio so I'm assuming it's the same guy.
The textbook guys are a thousand times better than the hack shops but they do disregard the bird 43 manual instructions on how to properly set up an RF test bench which prevents them from achieving consistent results every time so sometimes the "tune" will turn out better than other times. -
I've always thought he was pretty good. Used to be on here I believe.

Thanks guys

I am not going to say I don't like him I want a Stryker 955 tuned by him in the worst way but it's hard to get ahold of him if it's your first time getting a radio tuned by him and I have heard that it's a waiting game because he is so busy and the time he actually spends to make them work the best they possibly can most people don't want to wait for it I am willing to wait for one but I can't get ahold of him to get one from him
