Straps over the tarp is because a lot of the drywall places will load you, then put the tarps on so there’s is no chance of you falling off the load, then you’re sent outside to strap.

What if his straps are wet?
I’ve strapped over the tarps a couple of times because of that. -
I’d rather use plastic under the tarps in that case instead of putting holes in my tarp. Everyone has their reasons, I choose to poke fun at the ones who do it because there’s really no need for it.
stwik and spyder7723 Thank this. -
whoopNride, Tb0n3, Long FLD and 2 others Thank this.

I’ve used carpet squares on drywall. It worked that time, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

While waiting to get new tires installed this morning in Gerard,OH I was sitting across from a blue beacon. A TMC truck pulls into the line with a load of steel bar. Walking out of the tire shop office I see the TMC driver tarping the load in the truck wash line. Good thing they were moving slow.
whoopNride, stwik, cke and 1 other person Thank this.
