Was wanting to get this atlas. Can someone tell me the differance between the deluxe model and the standard.
Also is it really necessary to get the 09 version? The 08 version is about half the price right now.
Thanks

Buying a 2008 is fine....I don't buy a new one every year.
Deluxe or standard....I think deluxe has the coated pages, bigger and spiral bound....okay well mine does. I think the standard is like a paperback book and you'll have to purchase a new one sooner. -
deluxe is laminated and spiralbound, worth the extra. try to find a year old one if you can, most roads and cities haven't moved. sometimes you can get one cheap on e-bay.

I still have the 2006 version and im doing fine. Its getting ratty now though might have to buy and 09 to check it out. deluxe is better. The lamination can take a few accidental coffee spill or whatever it is you drink. Much more durable.

personally i like the large print version the pages are not as sturdy as the laminated version but its still leaps and bounds better then a standard version
