Did anyone reply "A clean toilet and no used band-aids on the shower floor are appreciated"

 

I can't believe how many drivers I see in flip flops. One from my own company yesterday. Not a good image.

 

Have seen something like this at some places.
Have no problem with leaving a tip when appropriate.
Signs like that usually lead to not tipping at all.

 

I think my image of my in shape 54 yo physique freshly washed,shaved and wearing a clean wrinkle free company shirt with matching khaki shorts and flip flops Trumps some heart attack waiting to happen 100 pounds overweight wearing his Chitkickers with week old jeans and shirt.

 

Talking about driving, not showering.

 

I pulled into a rest area last week and parked next to a guy just as he was getting out of his truck. He got out bare foot with ear buds in, and grabbed a pair of flip flops out of the door panel on his way out. I sure hope he was in the middle of a 34 and not driving like that.

 

If I have islands open on either side and no one behind me I just stay. The longest I will ever be is to take a leak or grab a sandwich.

 

You have no idea how many drive thst way. You can see an Averitt guy in a nice uniform to a guy in a tank top and flip flops. I wear shorts, yellow T shirt and socks and tennis shoes.

 

I wear slides and socks usually, slides (my kids call them) are like flip flops but you just slide your foot in, kinda like Crocs. Why? Super comfortable for driving. BUT, here's the difference, I pop my real shoes on when I come out of the truck to fuel, deal with a customer or anything like that. The only place I'm not worried about is running in to a rest area or the like. People who can wear boots all day driving must not be able to smell their own stink.
