Honestly, though. WTAF is the point of them going to all the trouble and expense of even putting in an outlet if it's only for shore power? I may as well just plug in an extension cord if I have access to electricity... -

I understand that plugging into an outlet in the truck is slightly more convenient than running an extension cord, but not by much. My point was why did they even bother if it's only for shore power? They obviously didn't put it in here because they care that people live in this thing!
I would totally buy my own inverter, and even pay the shop to install it, but my company is kind of stupid, and the truck belongs to Penske. I'm not putting that kind of money into a truck that could be recycled by tomorrow. -
