Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

Its the Loves near Wytheville, just a few miles east on 81. That Loves is basically the shop for the Wytheville based trucks hence the "special" treatment we get there. Abilene will be a lucrative account for them so they dont mess around. Everything is on account, no calling for authorization etc, we dont even get a receipt from them. What we do get is points on our Loves card for value of what Loves charges Abilene. They are fast too, I was in and out in a little over an hour.

That is correct, I was training with Shirley and we were introduced. Don't believe I have run into you since.

Training with her was a bit different. Drove team from day two, was driving on day one. She did give me a choice, told her I was here to drive. 3 weeks and done, then I recovered a truck from Wisconsin. Ran another load solo to get me home for Thanksgiving. Actually, i had another trainee in the truck with me on the way home, lol.

 

Is that the case with all Love's or just the one in Wytheville?

 

Is the training good at Abilene.
