That "rockin'" feeling is your front end being torn off since you're parked on an end spot and newbie Fred doesn't remember he has a 53' trailer behind him while exiting the truck stop.

If you have that much without a extreme effort the day before then you probably have a problem. It could range from simple being parked at a lower level of a parking area where the exhaust gathers around you or down wind. Possibly next to or being in a weed burner. That is one possibility. (I had trouble with that in the past. I usually park up wind or not in a truckstop at all. Some of my best sleep is done out in the middle of no where.

Most people take 8 hours give or take and that amount drops in life as the age increases (Balanced by day time napping probably) Im running on 6 or less most nights and it's fine. Then again I am not doing that work output physically and mentally.

You may in fact have apnea . got to you own doctor to get tested though not your company doctor.
That said.... You just may not be cut out to work nights.
Its the same for me working day shift . I could get the best nights sleep you could ask for but feel like crap all day.
It could also be a side affect from the melatonin? Might be building up in you system .
