That "rockin'" feeling is your front end being torn off since you're parked on an end spot and newbie Fred doesn't remember he has a 53' trailer behind him while exiting the truck stop.
Waking up randomly, weird things.

If you have that much without a extreme effort the day before then you probably have a problem. It could range from simple being parked at a lower level of a parking area where the exhaust gathers around you or down wind. Possibly next to or being in a weed burner. That is one possibility. (I had trouble with that in the past. I usually park up wind or not in a truckstop at all. Some of my best sleep is done out in the middle of no where.
Most people take 8 hours give or take and that amount drops in life as the age increases (Balanced by day time napping probably) Im running on 6 or less most nights and it's fine. Then again I am not doing that work output physically and mentally.Canadianhauler21 Thanks this. -
was on 80 in Wyoming one winter with a very light load so went to rest area right away when the winds started to wait it out anyways started freezing rain was at an end spot and wind really started up and I was half asleep I could swear I could feel the truck moving didnt think too much about it thought it was my imagination and fel back asleep anyways when I woke up in the morning was a nice sunny calm morning and got out of the truck and my truck was against the curb about 12 feet from where I had parked it .....

You may in fact have apnea . got to you own doctor to get tested though not your company doctor.
That said.... You just may not be cut out to work nights.
Its the same for me working day shift . I could get the best nights sleep you could ask for but feel like crap all day.
It could also be a side affect from the melatonin? Might be building up in you system .Canadianhauler21 and Oldironfan Thank this. -
