On a 2017 Volvo VN VHL there’s a tiny gap between the driver’s side of the bunk and the cabinet (between the edge of the mattress and the cabinet). The space is less than an inch wide and almost two feet long. You can see the floor at the bottom. Is this the place you’re meant to drop your reading glasses down there and not be able to get them back? Why on earth did they leave a gap such as this??
Update: I was able to retrieve the glasses (finally) using the end of a leather belt.
Thanks Volvo. Had to spend the little time I had to take a shower to get my glasses back.
What is this space for?

All you have to do is open the storage compartment from the outside. Reach in there and grab your glasses.

It's the design elements that make no sense the manufacturers purposely put in the Trucks for no real reason.
Lepton1 Thanks this.
