Long story short I'm running linehaul for an LTL carrier in Texas. I like the job, like my company, like my run, etc etc. But I HATE where I live. Not from here. Came here for this job. But I'm ready to leave. I was ready 6 months ago. Company wont let me transfer because of staffing. Hard to get drivers where we are, we are never fully staffed and they want me to wait until they hire a few more. Which will never happen, so I have decided to do what's best for me and look for other opportunities.
I want to go to Phoenix. I've spent time out there and really like it, that's where I want to settle and buy a house.
So if anyone knows of trucking companies hiring post up, if you know pay range and general schedule that would be great.
I have around 5 years CDL/tractor trailer experience. Hazmat, tanker, doubles/triples endorsements. Clean record, no accidents, no tickets. I'll be checking out the big LTL carriers but let me know if theyre regional LTL carriers I may not know about. Open to pretty much anything as long as pay and scheduling are decent.
Only thing that's a hard No is OTR. I'd consider regional if home regularly.(like once a week).
Thanks for any advice and suggestions.

Many other companies have hubs in Phoenix. Estes, UPS, and others. You could try food trucks? Not sure how much LTL you like doing.

There's dozens of companies, and all big players, union and non union.
Central Freight, SAIA, Estes, OD, always looking.
ABF, Yellow, a bunch of union companies.
Lot's of fuel haulers.
Dozens of smaller companies.
They are all in within about a 5 square mile area as well on the south side.
