I never let it get below 1500 to 1550 on a pull. It's obvious I need to down shift around 1700. I see a contributing problem with a crack. My engine the way it's setup needs to run a little more rpm's.

Are those all alum pistons? Are there any steel pistons made for that configuration ?

BTW, years, ago I dated a hot girl from LaMesa NM. She made me breakfast..hot franks, scrambled eggs with bell peppers and refried beans and home made tortillas. It was my first time having beans for breakfast. Love refried beans with breakfast! Add the salsa verde for some heat.

If a woman can cook and smile (I said COOK as in throw down in the kitchen), she got me around her finger.

They say, “Men are DOGs”, right? Feed me, pet me, and tell me how good I am and I will ALWAYS be happy when she gets home.

Hooray holidays! Feel like I'm going to be feeling Monday like I need to be somewhere more truck-like.

Got a friend's wedding tomorrow, then spending some quality time with my queen all week. Going to try and get some golf in with the old man. Then second wedding, wife's cousin, on the following Saturday.

Fun filled week! Spending money instead of making it! Wooo!

Yes all aluminum. Takes some work but... a N14 rotating assembly would be nice, they are steel top pistons.

Our wheat and barley isn't quite ready yet to harvest, but it's close. Their talking 100 degrees for the next couple days so it will come around soon.

In the meantime we've been picking more corn. IMG_3900.JPG

My brother planted 2 rows of sweet corn a 1/2 mile with the 24 row planter along with the field corn. He planted it 2 rows in to hide it so people don't go out there and help themselves. I've been pulling a calf sled between the rows and throwing the corn in there. It works pretty good.

We've been blanching a lot of it for later and the wife and kids have been going to town and selling it.

I wish I could give each of you a dozen. We're gonna have corn coming out of our ears! lol

@OLDSKOOLERnWV this isn't you is it? I was reading that big cam cummins thread over in the O/O section and looked up some videos.

I might bleed yellow, but that sound got me signing a different tune. Whew.
