I have a headlight assembly on my T680 that keeps melting bulbs. Literally the plastic housing for the bulb itself keeps melting on the driver's side. It has melted the female end of the socket from the truck to the bulb. I had to cut off the melted socket and just use basic female prong connectors on the end of the wires where the socket once was and connect them to the male prongs on the bulb. It melts the plastic around the bulb base in about 2 weeks and I have to replace the bulb. I've tried different brands but they all end up sludge that I have to scrape out of the housing. I've talked with a few mechanics about it and they claim it's the assembly not the truck. So I figured I'm going to buy a new assembly but if I'm going to do that i want to get something different. But guess what? It appears to me that there is not a single headlight manufacturer out there that makes a T680 headlight Assembly. Or am I just retarded? Are the T660 assemblies the same as the T680 because anytime I look for T680 assemblies I get #### loads of hits for T660 assemblies and nada for a T680.

Get an LED bucket and make sure they're mis-aimed so you can blind me like all the rest...

That's what the mechanics refer to the whole assembly as. On the 660 it fried the connector and they had to replace the whole thing.
