Why do drivers stare at you at truck stops?

There is a brotherhood out here, its just hit and miss when you find the members of it. Whether it be over cb or in person.

Yes you see mr impatient, jackwad, heckler, (insert your own variation) all the time. Add in social media advertising the screwups and it looks like a dysfunctional industry.

Today i got out of someones way so they could load their equipment because i had to wait for someone to offload the equipment i was dropping off. I was hoping he would just load and scoot out of the way so i could back right up but no guy has to secure and be a dink head. I was going to be patient but the unloaders came and told him to scoot.

So ended up missing my reload by a half hour due to dispatch not having the right hours in the computer. Ended up helping an old hand tarp his load since i was here anyway not doing anything and have to wait till the morning to load. He thanked me and asked how much he owed. My reply was not a #### thing.

So if we cross paths again apparenty dinners on him.

Ya,after 4pm the only "spots open" are the ridiculous 4 corners?.

 

I usually have the opposite problem: three truckers on three corners of my rig, ignoring each other and giving me conflicting hand signals.
