    ELDs were supposed to prevent falsifying. How good are they,. if they falsify your HOS ?
    I want to go back to paper logs so I can stick to the truth.

    ELD was supposed to track most significant movement, and sometimes gets the insignificant movement as well. I don't know how much editing can be done on the administrative panel on EROAD, I can edit anything but any kind of driving, on or off duty, yard move, there is none I can change.

    On duty to off duty or sleeper, yes.

    Also if you do a 15 minute pre-trip and log it, see if you can retroactively edit it.

    Since the log interface only reports full minutes but actually counts to the second (or less) I got a violation hours after I started because I did my pre-trip at 9:59.36 seconds, not 10 hours.

    Everything showed fine until I stoped for fuel & a shower, when I went to leave my log showed I was in violation. (SONOVA BI,,,,,!!!)

    So 40 minutes later with tech support all I had to do was edit my start time by a [explitive] minute!! And it was fine.
