Another Walmart bans truck parking Jasper, TN Exit 152 on I-24

They’ve always had signs up that said no overnight parking. I highly doubt they will ban truck parking

 

On any given night there are 40+ trucks parked there. It looks like a truckstop from the interstate. I'm actually surprised it took them this long to crack down. I can only imagine the filth that their employees have to pick up every morning.

 

Yea. Sadly a lot of places are going this way for trucks and even Rv's. So it's not just a pick on a trucker thing. Unlike you know..RI's truck only tolls.

Main reason for rv's is -
People camp out there. Like longer then a day.
People leave their trash.
People don't spend money in said store's parking lot their staying in.
Don't ask the manager on duty for permission.
Act like idiots.
Act like idiots to paying customers.
Treating a parking lot as a campground or dump.(It needed to be said twice)
Dumping black tanks in parking lot. Wtf people...
Taking up spaces for paying customers
More I'm sure

For trucks...
Trash
Noise
Attitude with others(truckers or customers)
pee bottles
pee
Take up lots of space
don't shop in the store whose parking lot they are staying in.
Poo bags and or just poo.
More I'm sure.

Neither list is far from finished. Conclusion though is simple...the bad, idiot, #######, non-commonsense having, lazy, rude, an so on an so forth types of people ruin it for the folks who play the game right.

One bad apple spoils the bunch...gets everyone banned from overnight parking.

Local Walmart here doesn’t allow overnight truck parking. I’ve seen the manager knock on sleeper to leave while I was in my car. Pretty soon they’ll all be that way

 

Ownership of that property recently changed. But yeah we saw this coming.

I am surprised walmart allows trucks on the property at all considering most are there just to sleep and have a dump in the parking lot.

 

The guard told you it was lease property and you still blame Walmart.
