Hi Kentucky and may I say you're very well versed and I'm impressed on the dedication you've had on this thread. That said...
My husband has 14 years experience in trucking, tanker, reefer and dry van. Records are all spotless and his references are impeccable. My only concern is I haven't heard a peep about a rider policy. Does Superior allow riders?
Thank you and may I say you are providing a powerful example on how we can all compare "apples to oranges" so to speak on the carriers in the trucking industry. It's not going to be perfect, it never is, but it's what you get out of it and what you make of it that matters!! **especially if you're choosing this type of work as your profession!** Thank you again!!

Neither riders or pets are allowed. Its a necessary policy due to the nature of the chemical plants we load and deliver to.Mortar Man Thanks this.

Jimmy C. is also over the terminal here in Memphis . Or I think he is my terminal mgr seems to talk to him allot. We have a hiring freeze also here at Memphis till they secure an account they are trying to get then seems that they will be adding up to 10 trucks here. There are2 mt trucks here now used ones that have arrived so might have the freeze lifted soon ...
But I think jimmy c. is over us also at Memphis ..Last edited by a moderator: Feb 14, 2009
davan2004 Thanks this. -
I called the terminal in Cincy, oh. this morning and the T.M. told me that they were not hiring right now and he told me when they start hiring again they will pull my online app. and take a look at it. ALso I called Carry Transit which is owned by Superior and the T.M. told me he would hire me because they are hiring out of there term. He said the food grade division is still busy. They pay the same as Superior except the 10.00 berth pay.

I was supposed to have an interview with Shellea at the Memphis terminal today, but she never called. I guess I'll head on over to Knight for orientation tomorrow. Oh well.

If she set it up hold her to it. Call in the morning and go see her they have an mt truck or2
Don't give up she won't call u call her -
Little less per mile
Superior 41.5 ld
34 .0 mt
Carry. 38.0 ld
31.0 mt
But yeah other than the 10 for sleeper about the same. My advise is take the carry job and then transfer to superior job when aval if u wish. You may find u like food grade and stay at carry either way great job
Take it -
