Originally it had a battery box on the driver's side. Just thinking about putting a tank there and moving the batteries behind the cab or between the frame rails.

I figured trucking was headed downhill first time I saw wire harness on my fuel pedal of '88 KW COE. Before that everything I drove have mechanical linkage as on the CAT

I'm just amazed my turbo didn't fall off. Clamp holding the exhaust side housing on is broken. Just rust holding the band on lol.

Thinking all that aluminum is going to get polished up. Not sure if we're going white or yellow on this engine.

I personally like to keep a symmetrical look. I know you didn't ask but thought I might share an opinion since you are up in the air. Course I still think an Auto Crane bed with a welding deck and a 10k crane would be ###### myself

It definitely would look good with a nice service body on it. Problem is I probably won't want to put the truck to work and get it dirty once its done. I'll save that shame for an ugly truck lol.

I should go with black. Hide all the oil leaks from the brakesaver lol.

Maybe I'll go with whatever they put on those colour-changing Hot Wheels cars from back in the day. Have a blue engine when cold and orange when warm.
