No we dont... there is one in Portland. Ive never been there. So I couldnt tell you if it is just a drop yard with a temp building like our Denver one.. or if it has repair, fuel, and amenities like our Pittston or Salt Lake Terminal.

When I go home, they have me drop my trailer at Oak Harbour Freight in Auburn.

How about NY? I see there are few folks from NY driving for Prime. I like their training program.

I know it's tough out there right now but I'm doing the internet school of learning right now and won't be ready for another year or more. I have been reading a lot over the past few days. I always do extensive research before I jump into anything.

Unlike a lot of trucking companies, Prime doesn't have "terminals" everywhere... we have 3 regional centers for dealing with dispatch, trailer repairs, and prepping tractors. Cuts the overhead.

Prime deals with repairs by having contracts with T/A, Petro and Speedco - you just pull in and get things taken care of. As far as home time goes, we get you a load going into the area where you're at, you drop your trailer where they tell you to, and then bobtail home.

By the way... last time out of my house in WA, I got to grab an empty trailer out of our Prime Floral location in Portland, OR (actually Wilsonville)

Just a suite of offices with a couple loading docks and a few out of the way parking spots for trailers in a business park.

Prime Floral in Oxnard CA is way bigger, has a fenced in drop yard.

I was wondering what you were talking about - over on the other site - "our Portland location." Huh??? Those places are overglorified sales offices, that happen to have a place you can drop n' hook a trailer at. Heck... at least you can get a shower at RTCDEN!

Please! You have such a soft spot for that place (RTCDEN) because its near your home.... its a glorified "double wide" with a security fence. You have acess to the shower and bathroom only during businees hours.

I was in and out of Portland and only saw the foyer, bathroom and loading docks (yes they have loading docks and refridgerated area for the flower freight) The bathroom is cleaner, for sure.

One is neither better than the other... The guy asked if we had a Washington Terminal... if RTCDEN (Denver) is considered a terminal, than Portland is one too. Oxnard has both of them beat.
