The very fact that GW has become politicalized is proof to me that some people are using fear mongering in an attempt to gain power.

What exactly does the guy publicising the problem have to do with the problem itself?

You know something, it is an undeniable truth that we are part of nature, and being part of nature, we live and act for our own good and benefit.

Other animals have laid waste to parts of the planet, Elephants kill off trees by knocking them down while Giraffes strip them bare.

Back when those funny looking reptiles were in charge, there was a lot of damage to the eco system, from pooping in watering holes to creating oil.

The sad thing isn't that we have done some damage, it is still being debated how much by those who are not falling for the funding schemes and because it still is being debated, we must come to the understand the real problem is with these scientists who can't predict the weather but claim the doom and gloom by the thousands of models that they produce.

    Really?

Who said it was a bad thing?

Those scientist who make money off telling it is a bad thing so they can continue to study it?

Have we asked the trees and other plants that use CO2 to flourish?

Of course not, we know that's true, plants take CO2 and give us o2, so wouldn't it be wise to include planting tress as a priority or using idle farmland to so to produce O2?

You do know that old growth plants produce less O2 than ones that are growing?

But but but ... the sea levels, what do we do about them?

Nothing - just move inland like our ancestors did.

But BUT BUT !! ... the polar bears, the spotted self-reversing mini finger biting salmon trout fish that lives in a creek so remote that it isn't on a map ... they will all be extinct if we don't do something.

    Yeah ... so?

Eoraptors are extinct, I wish I could get one of them to keep my cats in line but I can't because they are extinct.

So are other animals from the past, man had nothing to do with their demise but we seem to be blamed for it.

So you care about the planet, great so that means to me we must all do a few things - the first is to live within limits so not to impact everything, which means to me start looking at plastics and how that is really bad.

The second thing is that we all must accept the fact, an undisputed fact that the climate is never and will never be static while at the same time, this all has happened before without man.

We are not God, we can't change something that we didn't create. We don't have the power to reverse anything unless we want to do something that some dictator said has to be done and tried it in practice.

We are stuck with what we have and only that. We have to adapt, or die, and if we die, we go the same way as that cute, cuddly little Eoraptor did.

AND finally we all must understand that we are in an industry that has a bigger carbon foot print than any other industry except for Hollywood, government and of course the global warming industry itself.

So maybe we are NOT part of the problem?

Folks need to understand that is the way it is, If them silly humans do not learn to adapt then they are history. But some do not care because they will be gone before we really see what we have done. I had children and they had some so I think down the line. We will adapt.

Nobody says the climate isn't changing...because it is, just as it has been since the beginning of time. Warmer or cooler makes no difference to the planet, and great things happen either way. The Stradivarius violins are said to be among the best sounding ever produced. Why? Because the trees they were manufactured from grew during a colder period, and contained thinner, denser growth rings. Most species of animals will do better when it is a little warmer, due to longer growing seasons (more food availability). So who is to say what the "ideal" climate might be? Perhaps the world would be better for us a few degrees warmer as our population swells and more farmland is needed. Perhaps a few degrees cooler would mean widespread shortages as farms on the extreme ends of the hemispheres are no longer able to produce.

So we've established that yes, the climate IS changing, and no, we don't know what the "ideal" climate really is. Because the climate HAS been changing forever, how self-righteous does a person have to be to believe that ANYTHING he does is going to stop it?

    From your link:
"For example, focus on Climategate emails neglects the full weight of scientific evidence for man-made global warming."

If taking into account the full weight of FRAUDULENT evidence for man-made global warming, then ignoring the facts when the curtain is lifted is perfectly acceptable. When NOAA and NASA have also been caught red-handed tampering with historical records in order to make the past appear cooler so that the current temps appear abnormal, their "data" is also no longer reliable.

I also find it amusing how after Mars was discovered to have a changing climate, and that it was undergoing a warming trend that mirrors our own, how all of the "scientists" quickly dismissed the only common denominator between the two planets as the cause. Why? Because they aren't LOOKING for the truth, but rather evidence to back their ridiculous theory. Anything and anyone who disagrees must be shut down and buried in order to keep the money flowing to fund their research in order to push their political agenda.

If you want to push a political agenda, at least be honest about your motivations. If you don't realize that you've been brainwashed by those pushing a political agenda, there isn't much we can do for you.

Nothing was found in the climate researchers emails. They were completely open about mistakes found in readings and how they were corrected for.

It has been documented that plants grow best in co2 levels at about 1200ppm in the air while current co2 levels are about 400ppm so it would seem we should do our part to take the co2 trapped in the ground and release it into the atmosphere to help make it more optimal for plant life.
