That makes sense, if they loaded them on a true car hauler then that driver could unload one and drive it around during his break.

There was a story in The Seattle Times about 30 years ago. A gas station attendant saw an RV pull up to fuel. The wife climbed out and a Chihuahua ran out and starting barking and running in circles. The husband got out and started to pump fuel.

The Chihuahua kept up a constant barking and running in circles, in spite of the wife trying to get it to go pee in the bushes.

Suddenly a Bald Eagle that had been perched in a dead cedar tree just across the street swooped down and carried the Chihuahua away.

The wife started hysterically crying and running down the road after the eagle. The gas station attendant saw the man collapse in tears next to the fuel pumps...

...but then realized he was doubled over, laughing, pumping his fist, saying, "Yes! Yes! Yes, there IS a God!"

Mileage is recorded when loading to prevent this. And just how are you supposed to secure them to keep them from bouncing into the side walls or each other? Down in the lower 48 you can just nail blocking to the floor against the tires but up there the roads are so bad that will only lead to tires rubbing through on the blocking.

Basically its just asking for a freight claim.

    ?

King can't move first! You have to move a pawn or knight first. But IMHO the knight opening is silly.

No worries. Chaulk it up to another LE (learning event). OP, I recommend opening those doors and inspecting the load at least two times a day, not to mention that you drive as if there's an unsecured missile aimed at your head. If those cars start to creep, then add securement. Do what it takes to get them delivered without fresh scratches.

I hope you have a way of securing those cars. If you have logistics posts in your trailer, you can contact a household moving company and they may be able to set you up with the kind of straps they use to secure cars. If you don't secure them they WILL move.
