I dont know if you mentioned it yet but does the truck do this when your bobtailing also? I know when I put my new Yokohamas on I felt the difference right away but it wasn't as drastic as yours.

Check to make sure the pitman arm is bolted tight to the steering box gear. If not you will get the condition you described.

I would also check the frame if was in crash, could be twisted, cracks or missing huck bolts on cross members or springs hanger/shackle. My Volvo has some sort of plastic sliding pads inside the drive axle spring hanger, it gets rough, unstable when i lose them or worn out, allowing the spring to much movement.

If you hit concrete and had to replace the front axle I'd think the problem maybe in the front end. Maybe the used steering box or something isn't tight.

I put 18 new tires on 1 time and it was a little sketchy for a while but not like OP seems to be saying. If he drives it long enough and it is as bad as he says, it will show in the tires.

I put new tires on the tractor the last two days. The truck is slick at the moment. Motorcycle tires do the same thing when they are new.

I had a new set of drives with that pattern, I felt like an old lady steering around a curve, little give and take the whole way around, swaying back and forth, took a while to get used to it
