My advise to you is to go to www.DACFIX.COM and ask them these questions. You can do this on your own, but the problem is it is like going to court without a lawyer, you can do it, but you're less likely to get screwed in the end if you have a lawyer. To me, $169 is not alot when you consider you can make $50,000 a year for what 20-30 years

Some companies compare dac and credit report with your application. Also if you have had to many jobs that's a strike. You have to also take in account your home location and if the company you are applying to can get you home if they think it will be an issue they will pass pass you up. Also look at the freight going in and out of your location these could be a factor in applying for a driving job. Not to mention if you have a criminal history you move down the list. If you have recent tickets say in the past 3 years could all affect you. I will tell you i knew nothing about the dac/usis till about 3 years ago...sure wish i did i would have been a little more carful at choosing companies to work for since now i have a spotless criminal history and only one ticket in my life but to many jobs...due to not researching copmanies before signing on. I am getting ready to use dacfix. To help take off jb hunts one day of oreintation. Nothing negitive just a few to many jobs...and i am having a hell of a time finding a job after being out of driving for year...

Me personally, I drove for Swift and JB Hunt, had something on my DAC from both, it took about eight weeks to get it off, using DACFIX, but now I'm smilling and driving and backing for dough; with a local carrier of about 50, where I get home every weekend if I want. Best of luck Trucking Lady. Remember to keep your eyes moving and always leave an out

Hello All,
I got a prehire from WERNER back in January. They arranged for me to take the bus from NC to GA. I went down arrived at 9:30PM. The next morning we were being herded through like cattle. That afternoon I was sent (with many others) for my DOT physical. I found out that I needed new glasses and could not pass the physical without them. So I was taken back to the hotel and was told to buy a bus ticket home and get new glasses, then call them and buy another bus ticket back down to GA.
I got on the bus that night and got back to NC early the next morning.
I did get new glasses. It took 2 weeks. In this 2 week period my wife and I decided my best shot at a decent job was for me to go back to school (to learn to do what I have done for the past 20+yrs, I had been driving local for six years).
Now I am over half way through the school and the school tells me that WERNER has put on my DAC that I was fired. I was told that they are making it sound as if I had been employed with them for about a month and then was fired. I NEVER KNEW I WORKED FOR THEM! SURE NEVER GOT PAID!
Now what do I do???????

I say you have three options to handle this. I would say four but talking to Werner on the phone or letter would be a waste of your time. The first option is to get your DAC/USIS report and contest this bogus insertion with them. Second option, hire DACFIX for $150 and let them straighten it out. Third option, hire a attorney, go after them for false information and maybe defamation of charactor. Either way you go will not be easy and its a ashame these companies can do this without a notification or consent to you. -

let me start by saying i have a good DAC report . I do have some points on my license thats keeping me from driving right now but thats MVR not DAC .
The more i read on here about guys trying to do the right thing or just starting out in this industry only to get slammed by their employers sometimes with out even knowing it , the more i think DAC should be out lawed .
There needs to be some guide lines or criteria on what can be put on there and some penalties for false information . Basically the employer can put whatever they want on there and you get the shaft no questions asked .
Just my two cents .
