When driving through toll booths. At least the top part of a Gorilla outfit. The entertainment alone might get you a free pass.

Cargo shorts (or pants) with a button down or Polo type shirt. Black or brown safety shoes and a ball cap if you desire. But it should be clean and in good repair.

When you say “outfits” am I to presume you mean down to shoes, accessories, and coordinating handbag?

If so, my ex wife is probably the one you should be talking to. Are you moving to a fall wardrobe or thinking about the hard winter that is not too far off?

You’ll have to forgive him. He obviously doesn’t know that da Cat threads are anything but serious. :)

Geesh.... so many of us on right now. Guess the 70 clocks all ran low. Except for Dave. He’s driving around his neighborhood, trying to find a place to take a 34. :)
I’m just stuck without a load until mon mornin’ I’m all dressed up professional. T shirt, flip flops, and the short pants. I only wear my monkey suit at the customers.

Oldironfan, Lav-25 and IluvCATS Thank this.

on a serious note, i always wear my calf high red wings, and dickies work long pants, and in the summer, colored pocket T shirts. in the winter, dickies work shirts, short sleeved of course. then maybe a hoodie, (non-insulated) and a work jacket. since i have to load/reload my trailer at each stop, i need not be over heated.

i do carry with me in my bag, an insulated hoodie, in case during the winter i have a breakdown and have to wait for road service and there is no heat. i also carry a full rain suit as well. all neatly rolled up in my bag.

when i ran the road, it was basically the same type of dickies pants/shirts or t-shirts, never long sleeved. insulated under wear as well, but only when i had to get out of the truck and to the truck stop, and for fueling, never as i drove.

i always wanted to be looking clean, and professional, over raggy shorts, tank tops/muscle shirts and sandals.

sure, i'd be sweating on the loading docks, even if all i had to do was keep count or just make sure they didn't mess up my trailer.

what the dock workers wore was of no concern of mine, but no one could ever accuse me of being a slob
