I just wanted to say Happy Holidays to all the gas haulers out there and be real safe this year so you can come home. Especially to Cali Kid and Plant whom I never meet but know their job and they know mine. On Christmas day I hope you can get cut back to three loads and paid for the shift. That's what we used to do and it was great. You either had a chance to open presents at 3:00am or wait until around noon. I had youngens in the house so in was always 3am. Anyway Marry Christmas to all and be super ready for Dodge Truck Day on 31 Dec 16. Maybe they'll close that day, it's the smartness thing to do. Again Happy Holidays. Gashauler.

When the tank starts to surge and the wheels start to hop when you're backing don't just give 'er hell or your drive shaft will be on the ground one day.
Stop let it settle and start backing slowly again.superpet39 Thanks this. -

True it's hard to get a gasoline tanker job with no experience but not impossible. I have seen guys walk in off the street and get hire on the spot for a major company. It all boils down to how the company feels at that point in time. It's best to have all your documents in hand and dressed properly. Don't let one company change the direction you're going. Try everyone before you change how you look for a job. Be vigorous and keep checking the places you have a application on file.

^ i have a job working hauling gasoline with no fuel experience just under 1 year driving a tanker OTR hauling water. + I have experience working in oil refinery for 5 years. I think my background in the oil refinery helped me get this job driving a tanker hauling fuel.
