    I drove for Land Transport out of Framingham , MA in the early 90's . They leased a bunch of cabover Macks . Real pieces of crap . Every time you hit a bump it would pop out of gear . Cross Bronx had to be run with a hand on the shifter at all times .

    VNL 610 volvo with N14 525, cracked the dashboard lol, friends truck.

    or 89 T600 running steel, 400 B CAT with 9 speed, did ok with 120k lbs on though.

    Early eighties International straight truck (soda delivery),...No idea what the motor was but it had the split rear end,that made some horrible sounds...lmao...Top sped of maybe 60 if I was empty and going downhill,...

    I haven't done cross Bronx in over 10 years . I don't intend to do it again either .

    A 1964 C60 Chevy that looked like the company bought it at a Tijuana auction.
    It was so messed up, the oil company (Kinder-Morgen) told me to hide it behind the "Pig Launchers".


    This one here looks kind of like it....[​IMG]But the one I drove had equipment bins instead of a dump-body. This one is "Cherry' compared to the one I drove.

    an 87 t600. the 13 speeds splitter would hardly ever engage like it should no air ride 'cept for the seat, wobbled like its was mad at the road, couldn't hear a thing over it.

    and that was last thursday!

    i would love to get the hood off a mid 70's reo...sentimental reasons
