I believe my Trainer wants me off his truck for WHATEVER reason. Maybe I'm not the quick and easy buck, 9e pushover, twenty something he's accustomed to? There's a Joker in his hand for sure and certain?

In so far as the company itself goes, there so big, (8000 trucks) I got lost in the shuffle I believe.

I've not ruled out going to another company and I've Conm up with more than just a few. They're looking today, they'll be looking tomorrow . I can play those cards anytime I want, my hand only gets stronger with each passing day.

When I first went to Prime they had the supply and I had demand. That's all changed.

Working on moving to and getting to McComb/Brookhaven. Just off I55. Good spot I believe for trucking. They've a Wal-Mart DC in Brookhaven . About 30 miles or so from La. Line. Good connection to I10, about am hour or so from Jackson.

Eventually I'd like to run regional or dedicated. Not interested in running NE, leasing (At this time anyway, maybe i learn more about it) Not interested in teams, (Again at this time, ~ JUST trying tomorrow things simple and basic for the next six months to a year)

LOL! Yea, he could definitely get a thing or two done! That is one thing I do really like about a Prime , is he makes himself accessible.

I believe my biggest problem is I just drew a lease operator trainer who as mentioned thinks he's a owner operator.

Prime IMHO has too many of these guys that are in it for the $$$ and the revenue streams.

I'm looking into other options, but taking my time and doing my due diligence.

The Devil you know is BETTER than the one you don't KNOW

Looking to settle down in the Western part of Mississippi, around McComb/Brookhaven off of i55

No endorsements. I was focused and concentrating on K.I.S.S. ~ Keeping It Simple STUPID. Focusing on learning the basics and fundamentals of the business my first year or so?

I'd be happy going out as much as six weeks or eight weeks at a time. I myself am accustomed to being by lonesome and living a Spartan lifestyle. Doesnt take much to make me a happy camper.

Any extra income I would EARN from tankers or flatbed is offset by my not needing the Medical insurance. I've TriCare Prime through my military retirement . Monthly premiums = $26 per month, (It's because the "insurance pool" I'm in is around 1 to 2 million

Exactly. I had the same attitude with my trainer and told him so. He let me do everything and watched me to make sure. Within 3 days we were basically running as a team. I’d still ask questions, he’d point errors or better ways. It was a good experience. When they gave me my own truck and I went solo I had no trepidation in doing the job. It was comforting to be properly trained.
