If y'all wanna say a prayer for me I'd sure appreciate it. We got 3/4 the way to the lake and figured out we don't have the keys.

Well she's driving ... cause I'm not legal....and we took her hot rod. The keys are in her Jeep.

We drilled elevator holes.... for the hydraulic cylinder to shove the elevator up and down. Most were 14" up to 36" depending on if it was a passenger or freight elevator. Top head drive rotary, turn table, electric rotary, and cable tool ( spudder ) was what we used, depending on the building.

As a boy I cut my teeth on a Bucyrus Erie 21W mounted on a 1960 IH B170. Rig was powered by a Hercules Power, when the engine wore out we pulled the LeRoi off the Gristmill and mounted on it. We also had a 20W on a 1959 IH B180, and a 22W on a 68 F600, Rig powered by a Buda engine. Last drill uncle Lester owned was a 55 Speedstar.

Done a lot of water wells, drilling in the mines for Elog... yes Elog lol!!
Drilled vent shafts down into the mine shafts, geothermal, piling just about everything other than oil and gas. My great uncle that raised me drilled Gas wells in his earlier years, this is one of his pay stubs from Standard Dilling out of Somerset, KY. He was born in 1918... and folks wonder why I tilt towards the older ways , that's how I was taught :).
