Yes Sir it takes lots of pullback when your down deep.

I drilled a 20" hole 230' in Naugatuck, WV as a vent hole. Drilled the 20" from the bottom up, using a TH55 Ingersoll.
Drilled a 8 3/4" pilot into the mine shaft, as you know when I broke through the ceiling all the slack from down pressure was gone in a second lol. I drilled 3 feet into the floor.took the reamer to the shaft opening, miners took it under ground and turned it upside down with the pin down in the hole I drilled in the floor. Once I screwed on it was adjust the machine and let her drill coming up. Miners would remove the cuttings while I removed each drill stem.
I always enjoyed the oddball things lol.

This was my last 3 days, it's going to be a little long......sorry.

As I've said before, I go to Ohio every year with 2 buddies to take in a 3 day dirt track race. Well this year the weather was a little sketchy but we decided to go anyway. I leave from OKC on Wed night and drive all night to Indy to pick up my 2 buddies flying in from Delware, (they fly out of BWI) in the morning. We drive to New Paris Ohio and our Hotel is there behind the Petro. The races are Thurs, Fri and Sat nights with Sat being the big one. This is a huge event for Dirt Track racing, like 30,000 people go.

So we go Thurs night and they get in some heat races and it starts raining so we are in rain delay for a while. They finally finish up and we get back to our Hotel room at 5 a.m. Fri morning!!! And I had just driven all night to get there the night before. Full disclosure. I did get a few minute nap Thurs afternoon before we headed to the track.

We go to sleep, get up around 11 and go to grab a bite to eat. It's cloudy and the forecast isn't good. So after we eat on of my buddies looks at the track website and the races for Fri and Sat night have been canceled because of the rain and rescheduled for Oct.

So, here we are, my buddies have round trip plane tickets that return on Sun and our room is reserved till Sun also and it's Fri noon. We have 3 options. Hang out doing nothing till Sun when I head back and drop them off at the Indy airport on my way back home, Buy 2 one way tickets at $275 apiece to fly back home Fri, or I can drive them back to BWI to their vehicle and they can get back home at a decent hour and I head back to Oklahoma from there. We chose option 3.

We left New Paris at 3 p.m. eastern time, got on 70 and headed east and as soon as we crossed under the Welcome to Ohio sign the bottom fell out for about 30 mins. It didn't just rain, it was one of those 25mph wipers on full fast and you still couldn't see kind of rains. We finally ran out of that for about 10 mins then we hit another one, it only lasted about 10 mins. Needless to say traffic was horrendus. We get to Columbus right at rush hour, oh joy, and it took forever to get out of there.

We finally go going, as good as you can in Fri evening traffic. Well the way we go to Delaware from out that way is I-70, then turn south on I-79 and take that first exit on Rte 40 towards Cumberland. Well we get on 40 around 7 and start heading east then guess what? It started raining.....hard, needless to say that wasn't much fun either. We run down to Kaiser's Ridge and jump on I-68 and it stars pouring again! It rained the whole way back to BWI. I left there at 11:30 p.m. last night, (Fri) and headed towards the house. I didn't want to go back through all that rain so I took I-66 out of D.C. to 81 to 40 home. I stopped for a 30 minute nap at pickle park on 81 and headed out again. Got home at 7:15 this evening. So after 28 1/2 hours of driving the last 2 days and 2770 miles after I left the house on Wed evening you can put a fork in me......I'm done!

I tried to do @wore out proud.

I'm getting too old for this sheet!!! Believe it or not I'm really not tired right now but as soon as I plop down I'll be done I'm sure.

You better stop at that one. Your vision is getting a little blurry. Were you aiming for the PBR or the girl?
