Weight would be around 15,000 lbs, give or take. As for value, I would look in the truckpaper (available online) to see what is being asked in your area.

Very little at that age. Its got the old wood floor under the aluminum that most likely is soft. Floors are always the issue refers. If you don't have a floor you don't have a trl

Many shippers are also starting to demand that the trailer must be 10 years old or newer. This may not affect you, but if you are planning on hauling for brokers, this is a consideration. Loads are hard enough to find as it is.

Its mostly places that load large heavy pieces. Like paper rolls. That's. Only place I ever saw do that.

You an walk the floor looking for soft spots. Look for and cracks or welds that don't belong which means they welded a crack. Once you get a crack water gets. Down to the wood. Once a florr cracks its fay
    s are limited.

It depnds what u want. Produce brokers don't care. Martin loads his 94 48 foot spread without problems. I'd kill to be able to pull a 48 footer again

In the grand scheme of all of the shippers out there, I would say it is not a huge percentage that demand 10 yrs or newer. 5% maybe. I have seen it with shippers of food and pharmaceuticals as well as the paper rolls. 5% may not seem like much, but you know that trucking operates squarely on Murphy's Law. So the load you really need will demand a newer trailer.

I do feel it is a growing trend to demand newer trailers though. Shippers and brokers who have gotten burned by a narrow trailer or one with holes in it or one that smells like vomit will demand newer trailers just to avoid a repeat. Of course, this doesn't solve the problem, because newer trailers can have these issues, too. But shippers and brokers tend to paint everything with a broad brush. With freight scarce and trucks plentiful, they can get away with it.

I didn't mean to make it sound like it should be a deal breaker for you, just a piece of information to consider.
