I did raise the flange, that was new, and stack to sewer connection, I don't think I accounted for the cement board under tile, and subfloor. My brother the master carpenter tells me the mechanic/trucker they have a deep ring for this too. He was not here to help! lol It was no remodel it was a gut, wire, plum, frame job. But thank you. Learn as you go right! I wanted to frame in metal and weld everything, my buddy said I'm great building his race car but not worth a crap with wood!

We had to put a tall wax ring under my son's toilet. The guy who remodeled the house before he bought it tiled the floor, but didn't get the flange high enough. But it was too high to put a slip flange inside and go from there.

My parents HOA has fined them numerous times since my father doesn’t like to cut the grass super short. Never has he ever lowered a lawn mower. Just like it’s tall and thick. They don’t like it because it’s not short and trimmed.

That is what makes this thread so unique. We can learn from everybody and get ideas. It's the best thread on TTR in my opinion.

So since I brought up race car, but meant truck and standing buy my toolbox. Mostly hand built. This was about 2007. S10 sheet metal, and frame rails. Full tube and boxed frame. 406 small block on alcohal, 3 speed manual. 1/3 mile dirt track up north here. Did run a few time a a 1/2 mile pavement. And one night they cancelled we went to Norwalk drag strip. They looked at us funny. But we wanted to race. Lined up the front, and rear and ran it. Should have added weight to rear. Didn't hook great. But what the hell.

You'd think people would have better crap to do with there time! A friend has a house on a golf course and the steps to his deck stuck out 14" to far and they made him re do the whole thing!! Cost him about 2500 to fix it!! Ridiculous!!!
