If you’re going to be buying new fridge Alex, make sure you get extended protection plan. Vibration make them go out, and protection plan will only run you about $50. Also, don’t buy truck stop junk inverters, get one on amazon. Cobra inverters ran for years for me and were on all the time

The Frigedare unit they sell at lowes seems to have the biggest freezer and looks to be better quality than most.
I almost bought a tall skinny shallow freezer frig unit by whirlpool on clearance until I started looking it over closely and seeing what a pile of Krap it was.Whiteline64 Thanks this. -
There is always something running in my truck.Whiteline64 Thanks this. -
I pulled the passenger seat out. Put a 3.5 cubic foot fridge in with a micro wave on top. Strapped them together. I have space in front of the fridge.

Do you guys turn off inverter at all or running fridge on it all the time?
If I don't turn inverter off, it's making long beep by the time I fire up the truck. I don't feel that suppose to be in that way. I would love to setup with bigger fridge, can't really eat in truck stops.Whiteline64 Thanks this. -
Maybe new batteries will help, or adding to your battery bank if you can. The only time we turn off the inverter is if we're going to be leaving the truck for over 24 hours, or if we switch to generator or shore power. If you charge your electronics at night, maybe switch to charging throughout the day.
Whiteline64 and AlexanderK Thank this. -
The beep have been there even when I installed brand new batteries. It also making same beep if I'm using my printer or coffee machine while truck is not running. So to use any electronics, I have to start the engine, start inverter and then use it. It's says power drive 1500 that I've got at truck stop. Maybe inverter itself is an issue. I had same inverter on company truck when I was driving it and decided that was ok, and installed on my own truck when I bought it.

That happened to me when I overloaded it
AlexanderK Thanks this.
