It’s all relative. Just depends how one wants to look at it. You can use a 7 day schedule or like myself, a 5 day week based on 14 hour days. My 2 weeks I’ve taken this year was based on 40 hours. First week was averaged out to $1490, second at $1540. The hometime I’ve accumulated gets tacked on the end, usually for jet lag recuperation. Lol.

I'll be lucky if mine this time around is $500 with all the time off I've had to take over the last year! But, couldn't be helped. Still kinda sucks though.

Having 2 year's with Abilene. Do you still only get 7 days off?

Kinda wondering myself when that second paid week benny kicks in since, in nearly three years, this is the first I've heard of it.Silverdriver Thanks this.

It's in the handbook online or at least it was. I don't know about now.

The exemption is only for trucks involved in relief efforts. The commom misconception seems to be that the rules are waived for all trucks operating in those statesChrisnva, Silverdriver, runningman0661 and 1 other person Thank this.
