I'd heard that anything over 5 years ago would be remissed, and you'd have to requalify. Another problem I'm sure we're facing is age. I'm MUCH fitter than most 25 yr. olds, but all they see on the app. is 55.![]()
Overqualified.

As a cap to my thread; Watkins/Sheppard has qualified me for the school. I need to get my DOT physical, permit and some money together.
Prayers answered thus far. -
Good luck with it all!

hey red did you try 7 hills and there is another company right on ga 113 in cartersville cant think of the name right now...if WS dont work out for you maybe give them a try.
Red Fox Thanks this. -
Hey, I appreciate the tips! I've heard of 7 Hills; what do they haul?
As is, WS is what I wanted more than anything out there after reading all the posts about them. And I may be in LUV with Roxy! What a sweetheart, even if she IS a recruiter! Ha! -
not sure what they haul but it seems its all dry van stuff....see them all the time on my way out to texas... but being in the area they are i would think they carry stuff for shaw and other textile mills..but hey I could be wrong..

Dang Dang Dangit. I'll be delayed for a month now, since my VA records contradict themselves and all the doc could okay me for was a 3 month pass, and WS won't go for it. I didn't want to risk the loan anyway, and get disqualified or something before paying it off. The rush was on to make some bread to pay up bills, feed myself and the lady for a month, pay the down, the DMV, and find a sleeping bag...
Worse now is one of the VA docs put down that I supposably have coronary artery disease...despite the fact that my pump went from 30% to 50-55% (perfect action) due to my diet and workouts.
DOT allows 40% Ejection Factor, and most pages show me at 30%. Except the one that showed 50%. Very odd that I feel fine. I deadlift up to 425, squat 405, rep out Pendlay rows with 315 any day, bench 315, incline dumbells using 110's...and I train 3 times a week, brutally. You'd think if I was gonna have problems, they'd show up in the gym. Lumping a truck is nothing to me.
I'm venting, I know, but also I'm a bit relieved the pressure is off for now; didn't look like I was gonna make it anyway: can't leave my lady without provision.PharmPhail Thanks this. -
If it goes well I should be with my trainer by Tue or so.
Good luck brother .. with you in spirit
Tinman! -
Thanx Steve. Might be more than just a delay, but next wednesday I go for a VA evaluation - I'll hit you on the landline when I find out what they're gonna say. I think if they're gonna disable me, then they might as well PAY me to sit home. I'm sick of being between a rock and a hard spot.
On the upside, at least Roxy put me in for next month's school. Now it's just up to the VA and money. -
Got the stress test done: made a SIXTY SEVEN % Ejection Factor!!! Weight training has really paid off, since I've come up from just 30%. Blood test is showing a bit high on cholesterol, but I'm volounteering for meds for that today and I'll knock off the cheese and whatever it is I'm eating that causes it. Got to shovel some paperwork back and forth in a hurry so Safety and the WS nurse can qualify me yet.
One hoop after another, but I'm getting close!
