It only took three hours to unload after two hours of waiting to hear about what was going on. Finally getting loaded... FINALLY.

Well, they all have that emissions regulation ######## that tells them they need to stop to let the DPF clear itself out, and if they keep driving, even to a safe place, could get a 75% power derate and have to slog it.

That and with elogs, now companies are getting drivers to make sure to do their load checks (including vans) every 3 hours and get after them if it's even 1 minute longer.

It's why if you ever travel the TransCanada highway, you'll see those LCV trucks, pulling two 53 footers, stopped on the shoulder every 3 hours so the driver can get out, kick the tires, water the road and keep going.

I'm glad my company isn't picky like that, it would drive me nuts. I stop when I feel it necessary to stop and check. I'm very confident in my securement and am always watching the trailer.

And now with the tank, I'm getting spoiled because there is no requirement to stop. I can do 6.5 hours in a single go if I want. My butt doesn't like it all that much, but when you are in the groove, you just give 'er.
