I'd like to see one in person, but I'll drive to your neighborhood to see them. We don't need critters that big down here, deer do enough damage as it is.

They are a big animal. There is getting to be more and more here and do lots of damage in crop especially corn and sunflowers.

When we harvest corn and flowers they will stick in the field till the very last pass and out comes 3-5 of them guys.

What are you doing with the dozer? Are you making a new trail or leveling out one that is already there?

They are doing both like beastr123 said. You can see spots in fields where they lay down.

@beastr123 do you see any moose up your way?

Don’t blow your horn if you drive a black Pete.

When I was a kid, some guy told me about a friend of his that had a black Pete that blew his horn at a moose and the moose demolished his truck.
30 years later, I had a kid tell me about a friend of his that drove a black Pete that blew his horn at a moose and the moose demolished it. I told the kid that I blew my horn at a moose standing in the road and the moose ran away. The kid called me a liar. I told the kid that I don’t drive a Pete.
