I've stayed at the Wild Wild West for a 34 a couple of times. It's a bit of a hike to get across the freeway to the strip, but not bad.

There's a HARD WORKING man that will polish all your rims and tanks for cheap. He comes to the WWW every morning on a bike, towing a trailer with all his supplies. Even in the heat of summer he will be working hard making your truck look nice. If you use his services be sure to tip him generously. His quoted price barely gives him minimum wage for the time he's sweating out there.

We used to stay at the old 76 downtown, across from the Pyramid. I have no idea if that particular stop is still there.

To wit, we do better when we stay out of Clark County away from Vegas in the smaller towns for a little peace and quiet.

At some point in the future we may return to Vegas for a day, if not Sky City or Tupelo instead.

I still have one of the slot dollar coins from that 76 plaza from their big slot machine. It has no value, just a memory item.

Were you a guest at the hotel or did you just park in their lot?

I've parked in their lot for a 34, never stayed in the hotel. It's been 6 or 7 years since I was last out there, so I don't know what they charge these days. Its located at exit 37 - W Tropicana Ave. It's about a 1/2 mile walk to the south end of the strip from there.

I was in Vegas a couple months ago expecting to stay here at The Orleans a couple days but the truck parking area was completely blocked off. I would call and check to be sure.

I just checked on a room there for Friday and Saturday night. The least expensive one available was $463! I don’t think so. LOL

You're not going to find any cheap rooms Fri or sat. The cheaper rates are sun to Thursday
