So I'm drinking beer in the shop gonna service the wife's GMC. Ran 120 mile round trip for a clutch housing for my friends Mack I'm trying to reconstruct from FUBAR. It was the wrong one. Only thing I could do was install input shaft. Then mowed at the truck yard. Called findlay mack 47 hours after I called in a parts list and asked for parts manager. Told him I called two days ago and still have not received quote and time frame on parts. "Oh Ill check in on it". I said "dont bother another Mack dealer had me a quote by noon". $3500.00 in parts ain't a ton but come on. Is that not worth your time? . Oh well, have a great weekend. If any decent work comes up Sunday, or Monday I'm out of here for a break. Truck can sit. Anyone with a clutch housing for a rockwell rmx 10speed from a Mack. Thats important because of the inverted clutch fork, trans/engine mounts. Only in a Mack.
