Has he decided to get rid of that crap yet? I’ve often wondered how reliable one of these new trucks would be if a fella bought and then went straight out and did some “off-road only” modifications to the exhaust system.

Course what sucks is you pay big bucks for that new rig and all that crap, just to turn around and pay to remove it.

 

There is a handful of whiners that think I'm a kiss ###. Always crying " how come super gets all the gravey runs ?" ... the man says "because I can call super and he says ok call when he is done" no ##### in or whining. Just does the job ! I run by myself because I can't stand when a driver whines bout keepin up or can't run that hard. I got enough friends ! LOL I work hard and play hard, period.

 

Back in them days more guys used dealers for everyday repair. I had a good friend pulled pneumatic tanks I never seen him without a Peterbilt hat, in cooler weather a peterbilt windbreaker. His truck went to Pete for everything even after warranty. He used to laugh and say well they are the experts lol. Ma

From what I understand you gotta be careful with the ISX. They will vent at number 5 if not done right. I think it would be worth it to find the right guy though cause I feel like its gonna toss number 5 anyway. He has a guy leased to him with a deleted maxifart. It almost broke the guy till he off roaded it. Has had real good luck with it since. Last few years I haven't stayed on top of new technology like I used to. Sorta lost interest I guess. Eventually stuff wears out beyond repair, my ol rag will be pushing 50 when I get ready to retire. I got a pretty fair selection of parts for those occasions but I can't see a almost 50 year old truck being feasible to work every day. Not working isn't an option so I better come up with an idea of some kind

 

She ain't look as good as that W9... she didn't come out looking to bad! For a hand job!!! I need to get a polisher. I about fell out when the boy told me what he paid for 10 wheels and 2 tanks. I think I might be in the wrong line o' work!!

Exactly where I’m at on it. I have no desire for one of these new ones but some day I may not have much choice, I dunno. I keep thinkin sooner or later somebody is gonna figure out how to make em reliable but they keep on not doin it.

 

Cool knife!! And am I the only one that came away from that video wanting watemelon and thinking about doing sit ups?! That young lady in the black...wow!!!
